Harley Quinn: I'm depressed, Red. Here it is holiday time and we're hiding out in this dingy rat trap. No presents, no fun, no nothin'. Can't we at least get a Christmas tree?
Poison Ivy: What? And support the mad campaign of botanical genocide that grips this country every December?
Harley Quinn: But Christmas trees are so bright and fun and pretty. Oh, please? Please? Please? Please?

An entertaining start
15 July 2016 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I know I said I'd be taking a break between this and "Batman: The Animated Series" but after seeing both parts of "The Dark Knight Returns", my love for Batman has been reignited, so I'll be getting a jump-start on a series that people love abusing for ridiculous reasons. About time I got to voice my opinion for this show. I'll cover this more when I review the series as a whole, but I've never understood why this show's been a punching bag for years. Anyway, it's a great start to a new series. There aren't dark themes or anything, it's just three funny shorts that add to one episode. It's a great way to introduce new characters like Tim Drake, and new character designs for Joker and Ivy. It's funny, short, and sweet. What better way to start a series than that? Also, I like the animation in this better than "Batman: The Animated Series". I think the two years in-between shows allowed the animators the break they needed to increase the quality of their work.
