So lazy it hurts.
10 July 2016 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

When this show scores, it scores hard. Episodes like "Perchance to Dream", "Read My Lips", and "His Silicon Soul" are all examples of that. But when this show fails, it fails hard too. Episodes like "Cat Scratch Fever", "The Mechanic" and now "The Terrible Trio" are also examples of that. Even though this show has had far more hits than misses, it makes the episodes that suck stand out more. Case in point, this lazy episode. This must've been another filler episode, because it was sure written like one. First, the villains themselves are so forgettable. Out of the three of them, only two of them have anything close to resembling actual dialogue. The leader, is so bad at covering that he's the bad guy, it's a wonder how he wasn't caught immediately. He has such a phoned in "I'm trying to care" attitude that's so freaking obvious, it's like Superman putting on glasses to become Clark Kent.

Second, the plot is so lazy it might as well be asleep. So get this, the reason these three rich nobodies decided to become villains was because they were bored. Really? Because you were bored? You decided to break the law, and risk losing everything that was given to you, just because you couldn't think of anything else to do. It's sad when Clock King has a better reason for becoming a villain than you. At least Clock King's excuse wasn't "Just cuz."

Please tell me these guys don't have another episode, because I couldn't wait for this to be over. Consider this in the Top 5 of my "Worst of" list.
