Batman: Let's go, Fox. You've raided your last chicken coop.
The Fox: Wait, wait a minute! We can make a deal! A million dollars to let me go!
[Batman hauls him to his feet]
The Fox: Ten million! Think about it. Buys a lot of Batarangs.
Batman: Your money's no good here.
The Fox: Okay, fine. Go ahead. Take me in, hero! I've got every judge in town in my pocket! You'll see. I'll get justice, the best that money can buy!

Unusually awful
23 January 2017 | by See all my reviews

"Batman: The Animated Series" has its own misfires, but I don't think there's anything nice to say about 'The Terrible Trio'; an episode so lazy, from its writing to the animation. The guys behind the high-end burglaries are motivated purely by . . . boredom. Yeah. And there's no nuance to these guys; they're stock rick-kid villains. Remember Dan Aykroyd's moneyed pals in "Trading Places"? That's who's looting Gotham's top one-percent. Even the fistfight on a snowmobile is marred by shoddy animation.

It's bad.
