In the original version of this episode, the Joker steals a prop Jokermobile, and as he drives away, he removes a sign from the windshield which reads "Wan the cirin gnal Jokernocile". This was meant to read "Win the original Jokermobile" but got lost in translation with the Asian animators. This error was corrected when the series was remastered for Blu-ray, as the sign now reads "Win the original!".
The Joker breaks the fourth wall through his messages to the viewer: "Exit stage left..." and "Don't try this at home kids!" This is an ability he frequently displays in the comics.
Shortly after escaping from the guard at Arkam, The Joker says, "what a maroon" which is one of Bugs Bunny's favorite insults.
The Joker's destruction of a television was taken from Batman (1989), as was the threat to rip Cameron Kaiser's lungs out.
When Poison Ivy tells Joker to change the channel, he replies "Duh, nope, nope, nope, don't wanna" in an imitation of another Looney Tunes character, Beaky Buzzard. He was the model for Concord Condor in Tiny Toon Adventures (1990), which shared much of its creative team with this series.
