Quotes

Ubu: [Batman, in disguise, fights Ubu and knocks him to the ground, keeping him there with multiple punches. Batman is then restrained by several of Ra's Al Ghul's henchmen. Ubu grunts as he stands back up] For this indignity I will see you suffer!

The scheming of a madman
16 January 2017 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

'Pt II' is no leisurely stroll. As soon as it opens, al Ghul has risen from the mythological Lazarus Pit our heroes negotiate both a cave-in and an avalanche, and then it's off to the Sahara for fiery swordfights; this thing's packed with action.

And Ra's al Ghul's genocidal wipeout scheme has gotta be the darkest of them all. He's truly a villain occupying the world's stage; and he's not just a cape-wearing mogul, but a frenzied beast whenever he arises from the pit. Batman's always been Gotham-centric for me, but Ra's is as good a reason as any to drag the Dark Knight to other parts of the world.
