Adam West and Paul Mantee co-starred three years earlier in Robinson Crusoe on Mars (1964). Interestingly, West's scenes only accounted for a few minutes of screen time in that film.

When Bruce and Catwoman are introduced at the beginning of the episode, Bruce responds brusquely that they've already met. This possibly refers to their encounter in the Batman movie, marking one of the series few continuity references.
