Warning: Spoilers
Terry struggles through both personal life problems as well as a new crime gang in town.

After his first encounter with the "Royal Flush" Gang, a club that consists of five family members nicknamed by the characters of a Royal Flush in poker: 10, Jack, Queen, King and Ace, Batman/Terry is late for another date with his sweetheart, Dana. After a somewhat heated conversation the two break up based on Terry's recent tardiness. As they argue, Terry is watched by a young and beautiful girl, Melanie, from outside. After she gets his attention the two get to know one another. Melanie and Terry seem to be perfect for one another. Unfortunately nothing could be further from the truth and with the Royal Flush Gang still floating around, Terry's problems are hardly scarce.

A good one to show how Terry's affected by being Batman.

Warning: Spoilers
Terry doesn't always like working for Bruce Wayne, because it takes a lot of his time. During the show, it's most often shown in his rocky relationship with Dana, but things get complicated in Dead Man's Hand when Melanie Walker enters the picture.

Terry falls in love with her, he argues with Bruce about how he will end up being just like him, alone. The Royal Flush Gang who are introduced this episode and as generic as they may seem, they actually have enough meat on them to be entertaining when they fight with Terry while flying on their cards.

Above average action scenes with the gang flying over Neo-Gotham and the dynamic between Terry and Bruce made this episode interesting. And the ending line adds a nice little nod to familiar territory which made me smile.
