The assassin Curaré is on the lose, apparently she is sent out to kill Barbara Gordon's husband. Why is never explained, but aside from that, the Society of Assassins to which Curaré belongs could be an interesting thing to explore if the writers want to, because of the mystery about it.
Barbara is the star of this episode, because she was once Batgirl who fought by Bruce's side and is now very skeptical towards Bruce's ways of interfering in her business as the police commisioner after her late father. She goes through a lot to save her husband and teaches Terry a thing or two.
Curaré is a mixed bag of a villain to me. She never utters a word, but swings a mean sword which is able to cut through basically everything and delivers some great fight scenes, but is covered in so much mystery regarding her identity and motivations aside from belonging to the aforementioned society which I hope more fleshed out in some later episodes.
This episode is best enjoyed by fans who recognize the nods back to Bruce's and Barbara's past, but has enjoyable fight scenes.
