Philip Sterling and John O'Leary
18 August 2014 | by (Youngstown,Ohio) – See all my reviews

"Games" finds the FBI's Philip Sterling (fifth of six) facing off against the KGB's John O'Leary (second of two) as reprogrammable computer microchips await delivery behind the Iron Curtain, bringing in the Department of Commerce (Warren Munson, second of two) to try to sort things out. Vernon Weddle (second of two) plays the manufacturer, insisting that he was told they were to be used for recreation rather than militaristic purposes. Former Playboy Playmate and Laugh-In regular Sarah Kennedy made her final TV appearance as Alice Grant, hard working member of the Armed Forces, who decides to supplement her meagre income at Fort Dix by becoming a Greenwich Village streetwalker while on leave. Fortunately, her first proposition turns out to be a sympathetic Wojo, who calls in her superior, Sgt. Lake (Carol Eve Rossen), to speak with Captain Miller on the young lady's behalf ("what she is trying to sell belongs to the United States Government!"). She informs Barney about her own career, spending two years sweating in Guam while the Navy nurses had all the fun (Lake: "I didn't earn these stripes in bed buddy!" Barney: "I can believe that!"). Her romanticized notions about what went on between Wojo and her recruit are swiftly corrected (Barney: "she was picked up outside a deli, none of that happened!"). On her way out, the sergeant offers to show Barney her tanks (Barney: "lookin' forward to it!").
