Not a totally bad episode, but the only thing I will remind of it is the shoot out sequence, in a repair shoe shop, a fantastic and very well done scene, for such an ordinary episode speaking of war against corruption inside the police force. I guess the scree writers can not avoid such a topic for a series talking of cops. You have Baretta's sidekick and friend who is accused of bribery after he was framed by his own hierarchy, to force him to collaborate with the narcotics force for nailing drug dealers, with a bug, a microphone...
As you see, looks like a SERPICO like scheme, but, I repeat, in TV shows about cops, such tales are not avoidable. We can only wait and hope for unexpected results. One more thing, it probably should have been better if there was more bleak elements, in the film noir kind, instead this cool atmosphere. But we speak here of a TV show destined to prime time audiences. So, to summarize, watch out for the gun firing sequence, near the tenth or fifteenth minute. It's really worth seeing. That's all.
