Storyline

When two strangers show up in Ballykissangel acting suspiciously and apparently shadowing some of the locals, rumors spread that they're revenue officers checking to see if everyone is paying their taxes. Ambrose knows who they are but refuses to say, even to wife Niamh. It seems that everyone in Ballykissangel has something to hide from Kathleen the shopkeeper, to pub owner Assumpta Fitzgerald to all-purpose businessman Brian Quigley. Assumpta is fed up with it all and is thinking taking up an offer from an old friend to partner in a wine bar in Dublin. Brian returns home to find that his house has been burgled. Of real concern to him is that his duplicate set of books has been taken from his safe. His old nemesis, Mossy Phelan, has a role in it all. Written by garykmcd
