Tying up some loose ends
23 June 2007 | by (Bradenton, Florida) – See all my reviews

This is a good transition episode and many loose ends are tied up. Let's address them one at a time.

G'Kar is once again put off by all the adulation since his book was published. However in this episode it's become so severe and a bit scary that he is contemplating leaving Babylon 5 and telling no one where he's going--even the Narn government who want him as their leader.

Lyta is arrested on orders from EarthGov because she apparently has been using funds to supply telepath rebels with weapons. Attacks had begun on Psi Corp and until her exact involvement is ascertained, she's to be held in the brig. Unfortunately for Captain Lockley, this is a serious problem as Lyta's powers keep growing and it seems impossible to contain her. I always felt sorry for Lyta, though, as she was constantly used by everyone and got so little in return.

Garibaldi arrives late and unprepared for a meeting and is confronted by Sheridan about his alcoholism. Much of the episode is built around this and Garibaldi is suspended until he's able to regain self-control.

Oh, and Delenn is pregnant and Sheridan only learns this when she passes out and she's taken to Med Lab.

Wow, those are a lot of plots and loose ends! So, this is a must-see episode because so much is happening.
