First, after the Centauri have shown that they are like the 23rd century's answer to the Nazis by trying to both liquidate the Narn AND extend their wars against their OTHER neighbors, the Earth Alliance finally agrees to take action. Sheridan and everyone else is thrilled,...until they find that the action is to sign a non-aggression pact with the Centauri--giving these murderers pretty much a free pass to do what they want! Second, towards the end of the episode, it becomes apparent that there is a plot against Sheridan's life. How this all unfolds is simply amazing but involves Kosh's intervention. Exactly what occurs is something you MUST see--it's a treat for the eyes and is a daring and amazing plot twist.

This is my all-time favorite episode of BABYLON 5--not just for Season 2! This is because it is so exquisitely written from start to finish. First, all the previous story elements from earlier episodes all come together so perfectly. Second, the ending is so exciting and uplifting that I just found myself so caught up in it I found my emotions getting the better of me (and I'm a guy, so I pretended the little tear in the corner of my eye was some dirt--a real guy NEVER gets emotional about sci-fi---even when Spock died in STAR TREK II).
