[Garibaldi is dreaming...]
Dr. Stephen Franklin: Michael, we needed you. We couldn't stop him. We needed you.
Michael Garibaldi: Who's out there? Who did this? Who are you? Who's out there?
Michael Garibaldi: Nobody. Yes, yes, yes. We did it all by ourselves.
Michael Garibaldi: That's not true. It's not true.
Michael Garibaldi: Oh, don't fight it. No, you're not gonna win. The more you fight it, the stronger it gets.

Garibaldi falls deeper into the bottle and Lennier comes through.
22 June 2007 | by (Bradenton, Florida) – See all my reviews

Throughout most of the episodes of season five, the series was a major disappointment--mostly because such major confrontations had already been resolved (the Shadows as well as the Earth civil war). However, despite mostly mediocre and sub-par episodes, the show picked up pace in the shows leading to the ultimate confrontation with Centauri Prime.

Lennier is asked by Delenn to relocate to a Ranger ship patrolling along the Centauri border. She has lots of reason to suspect the Centauri are behind the recent attacks on Alliance shipping but she wants Lennier to keep his eyes open and find proof.

However, to complete this mission for Delenn, he must disobey his commander and disappear in order to track transmissions that might be part of the attacks on the Alliance. Lennier's mission is very tense and you really find yourself tensing up as he risks his life for the sake of the truth.

In addition, much of the episode is made up of Garibaldi making excuses for his drinking and people around him (including his old girlfriend, Lise) believe him! Apparently in the 23rd century, people STILL don't know how to deal with addicts!
