Up until the last few episodes, Season Five had been a dull and disappointing affair. While I absolutely love BABYLON 5, it was a lot harder to force myself to stick with it in the last season since so many episodes seemed to lack direction or tension. Here, finally, a significant and exciting conflict is starting into motion.
Lennier and others now have damaging and conclusive proof that the Centauri are behind the recent attacks on Alliance ships. When a meeting of all the Alliance worlds (minus the Centauri) occurs, everyone is angry and tense and it seems like war in inevitable. When Londo is presented with the facts, he does what you'd expect Londo to do--the absolute worst thing! When the episode concludes, the first battle of a new war is underway AND Londo finds himself in a Centauri dungeon with G'Kar! See, I told you he blew it! There is a lot of action, scheming and everything fits so nicely into place--what an exciting episode!
