John Carradine and Foster Brooks
19 March 2014 | by (Youngstown,Ohio) – See all my reviews

"A Coffin with a View" features a remarkable cast, well known performers such as John Carradine, Foster Brooks, and George Lazenby, with a brief cameo as a reporter from newcomer Danny Glover (unbilled in his very first TV appearance). Pamela Hensley is Holly Tremaine, filming for Star International Pictures 'Fangs-The Sinister Legend of Dracula,' with a pair of coffins that supposedly belonged to the Count himself, one containing his remains, the other his native soil. B. J. McKay is hired to transport the two coffins, along with the Transylvanian Caretaker (John Carradine) from Dracula's castle, who insists that his master not be disturbed. Meanwhile, Jack L. Ging plays the investigator astonished to discover a blood drained corpse; is there a real vampire on the loose, and who could it be? Lovely Pamela Hensley was soon to star on BUCK ROGERS IN THE 25TH CENTURY. Doing his superlative drunk routine, Foster Brooks hardly cuts an impressive figure in cape and fangs, while producer Glen A. Larson served John Carradine far better with 1977's "McCloud Meets Dracula."
