Trivia

This episode was written with the idea of giving Arthur English, who played Mr Harman, a chance of using his popular pantomime character'The Spiv' in the show. The Spiv appears in the character of Papa Brumby, an underworld gangster. Molly Sugden as Mrs Slocombe pretends to be "Big Mama" Brumby and John Inman, as Mr Humphries, masquerades as their Istep-son, Italian Tony, The Tooting Terror. See more »
