Trivia

The only time a protagonist never got Sardo's name wrong (in the original Are You Afraid of the Dark? (1990) episode Are You Afraid of the Dark?: The Tale of Cutter's Treasure: Part 2 (1994), it was pronounced correctly but only after several mispronunciations and a warning signal from him). This is probably because when he introduced himself, he gave his name but not the famous line about its accent until later. See more »

Goofs

Jason says "I wish I didn't miss the bus, because now I have to walk home", and Belle gives him a car. But he didn't wish for a car; his wish granted should have been her making it so he didn't miss the bus home, not giving him an alternative transportation. See more »

Quotes

Belle: Someone once wished for an exciting voyage, I gave him the Titanic. A kid didn't want to go on a camping-trip; I exploded the volcano at Mt. St. Helen's. World War One - a reporter wanted an interesting story.
Jason Midas: So, uh... World War Two?
Belle: [regretfully] Oh, yeah... Nah... wasn't mine. Nice work, though.
