Storyline

Loner Meggie finds anonymous notes from someone who claims to like her, and thinks it's an athlete named Nick, before learning it isn't - he does like her, but never wrote the notes...and he isn't causing mysterious messages and shadows to appear in her home. When his friends imply Nick was only pretending to like her on a bet, Meggie wants nothing to do with him, but he's determined to prove his loyalty to her by confronting the writer who won't leave her alone and left a threatening note for him. It isn't until later that Meggie learns the person may be a ghost who wrote letters to her mother, and she must race against time to save Nick... Written by brainybrailler@comcast.net

Quotes

Nick: Don't be embarrassed. It's easy to freak and see weird things in the dark. I once thought I saw a scarecrow coming for me on the couch with a hammer.
Meggie Evans: What was it?
Nick: My dog with his food-bowl. I felt dumb, but I never forgot to feed him again.
