Goofs

For much being made of the date "February 29th" and the setting of the show being Canada, it looks more like late summer/Early autumn both in the framing device of the Midnight Society, and the story itself February is the dead of winter in the northern hemisphere. so it would have been covered in snow. House appears on leap year to create fear.
25 March 2014 | by See all my reviews

A couple of youngsters (played by Tamar Lee and Ryan Gifford) are being driven along by their babysitter (played by Vivian Liu) when they all get a little bit lost. They end up at a big house in the middle of nowhere, a spooky place inhabited by Master Raymond (Robert Higden). The babysitter is quickly spirited away, and it's up to the youngsters to find out exactly what is going on, and to save their babysitter, allowing them all to head home.

Directed by D. J. MacHale, and written by Alison Lea Bingeman, this is yet another episode of the show that's perfectly fine, without being anything great.

The acting from everyone is in line with the show (Higden is enjoyable creepy without being overly scary), the way in which the pieces fall together is nicely done, and this is typical spooky fun from the Midnight Society.
