When Howard suggest to Andy that he might like to join the local lodge, Andy invites him to their next meeting as a guest. It all goes well and Howard, who still lives at home with mother and leads a rather quiet life, is warmly welcomed. His overprotective mother however doesn't quite like the idea of her son going off with the boys once a week and decides to do something about it. She tells Goober that Howard's father became addicted to gambling and she's worried that Howard will get into card playing and ruin his life. She's made up the entire account but Goober decides he has to take action and blackballs Howard's application for membership. Written by
