Storyline

When Willard Foster's car breaks down on the outskirts of Mayberry, Andy invites him home for dinner. Andy knows that Aunt Bee will be particularly impressed since their guest owns the company that makes Foster's Furniture Polish, one of her favorite products. Over lunch, she suggests that they need a regular person promoting the product in Foster's TV commercials, not some actress as they have now. Aunt Bee clearly sees herself as the ideal candidate for the job and Mr. Foster agrees. When the film crew arrive however, her natural delivery at the dinner table doesn't translate well with the cameras in front of her. Andy has to be quick on his feet when Mr. Foster and the director make suggestions that may end up embarrassing Bee. Written by garykmcd
