Storyline

Aunt Bee decides that they have not spent enough time keeping in touch with their family and gets Andy to agree to inviting her sister Nora and her husband Ollie to visit for a weekend. They soon arrive with their two boys and while Bee enjoys seeing her sister again, the arrangements aren't very convenient with the three boys sharing a bed as are Andy and Ollie. They decide to put up with it for the weekend but when they invite themselves to stay on for the entire week, Andy isn't very happy. Fortunately, a prison escape provides him with the means to ensure that his uncle Ollie hits the road sooner than originally planned. Written by garykmcd

Goofs

When Aunt Bee, Opie and Andy are discussing Aunt Nora and Uncle Ollie Aunt Bee states that Opie has never met Ollie and Nora's two boys Bruce and Roger. In the credits Bruce is identified as being portrayed by Kenneth Butts. However the other boy, Roger, is never listed in the credits but is played by Billy Booth. Richard Keith ,who played the part of Johnny Paul Jason in 13 episodes of the series including this episode,is in the credits as such. In addition Nora was Aunt Bee's sister which would make her a great Aunt to Opie and Ollie would be his great Uncle. Despite being a generation older than Andy and two generations older than Opie their children are approximately the same age as Opie. See more »
