Storyline

When the old church organ heaves its last note, Warren finds an ad for a used one placed by a local farmer, and Andy gets pledges from local businessmen to supplement what's in the church fund to pay for it. When it's time to collect on the pledges, all Andy gets are excuses. But the farmer can't afford to budge on the price. The church organist herself, Clara, relies on her intuition to supply a solution. Written by Morganalee

Organ Donor
13 June 2007 | by (Argentina) – See all my reviews

When the church organ breathes its last, Andy and members of the town council are determined to find them the church a new one (shades of "Angel in my Pocket"!). Warren of course, tries to chew down the price of the used organ owner while Andy gets prominent citizens to pledge donations. But when push comes to shove everybody backs off their donations and they have to return the organ...until the widowed owner and Clara hit it off.

Pretty weak and uninspired domestic sitcom episode that lacks any of the energy and inspiration of the earlier AGS episodes. Unfortunately more and more of these kind of stories would be told over the remaining life of the show.
