During the 1962 episode "Sheriff Barney", it is revealed that Barney Fife lives at 411 Elm Street, Mayberry. Coincidentally, this is the EXACT same address of the Texas Schoolbook Depository Building, in Dallas, from which Lee Harvey Oswald would shoot and kill President John F. Kennedy nearly a year later.
