Andy and Opie spend lots of time together and Andy swears to always be true to his little boy. But when Peggy begins to make her way into their lives, he creates a plan to drive her away. But instead he makes both of them unhappy. We see Opie's vulnerability here. It's touching but rather sad. The conclusion is a bit smug, however.

A dud until a cute epilogue

Not a single laugh until the epilogue. Joanna Moore's last episode. She was decent as Peggy McMillan but no real comedic talent for a sitcom. Aneta Corsaut (Helen Crump) will soon appear as Andy's girlfriend. She will have more chemistry with the main characters, and a stronger comedic edge. This episode focused more on life lessons, than comedy..
