Barney and Andy indicate the buffalo on their nickels faces right. In fact, it faces left.
While in the barber shop, when Barney says, "I've been looking for a good investment", Floyd is mouthing Barney's lines.
Floyd tells Mr. Maxwell that he can't play an instrument, but in the later episode "The Mayberry Band" he plays the trombone in the town's marching band.
When Andy and Barney are discussing the fact that Barney bought stock in the record company, Barney states that Mr. Maxwell admitted that he could "make as much as a million dollars on the album". Mr. Maxwell never said anything about a million dollars. His only statement was that he might make $25,000 (25 cents times 100,000 possible sales). The only thing said about a million was when Barney asked "suppose it sold a million copies" and Floyd replies that would be $250,000 in profit.
