Goober, upset when he finds out Wally is selling the station, calls him immediately and Wally agrees to give him first refusal. After talking it over with Emmett and Andy, he decides to buy the station. Lacking collateral, Goober must have two cosigners for a loan so he turns to Emmett and Andy again, who reluctantly agree. At the Grand Opening Goober, dressed in suit and tie, is beaming until he realizes he's forgotten to order gasoline when he can't "fill 'er up" at Andy's request. Things go from bad to worse after Goober can't make any decisions for himself - he even sends a salesman to Andy's home - and starts getting migraines after reading about an executive whose company lost millions during his first year at the helm. When Goober hears the rest of the story, though, he regains his confidence and starts making his own decisions. Andy and Emmett stop by to encourage Goober to sell the station and are pleasantly surprised at the change and quit worrying. In the end Goober owes the IRS $150.
