Storyline

When Helen Crump tells Andy that she has a colleague from the school board in Raleigh in town on business, he tells her to bring her along for dinner. When they arrive "she" turns out to be a he, Frank Smith. Not only does he have a PhD, but he knows a lot about art and architecture, local history and can even play classical guitar. Aunt Bee is worried that Frank represents a real rival to Andy but he doesn't worry much. Until that is, Helen breaks their mid-week date due to a late-evening work session and then sees the two of them sitting in the diner having a cup of coffee. In the aftermath, Helen doesn't appreciate Andy's accusations and let's him know it in no uncertain terms. Written by garykmcd
