With Aunt Bee away visiting relatives for 3 or 4 days, Opie and Andy are left to fend on their own. Andy new girlfriend Peggy offers to stop in and help them out but Andy says it's not necessary. Floyd the barber overhears the conversation and warns Andy that if he's not careful, Peggy will soon be taking over and making herself indispensable and once that happens, wedding bells won't be far behind. Sure enough, the first night she shows up, cooks them a fabulous dinner and tucks Opie into bed. Remembering what Floyd told him, Andy sets about avoiding her until he realizes that they are both adults and no harm can come from one friend helping another. Written by garykmcd
