This episode opens with Flavin returning to Seefra; contradicting his previous view that nobody who left ever returns. He deliberately drops two devices as he heads into the bar to talk to Dylan. These are picked up by Lunah and Bozim, the leaders of two rival gangs. They assume they must be the keys to the craft which they believe must contain valuable technology so determine to get the other's key. Rhade and Doyle offers their services to the opposing sides. Meanwhile Flavin makes some rather cryptic comments before taking Dylan on a journey that is intended to teach him what it means to be a Paradine.

This episode felt a little weaker than average for me; the story involving the two gangsters trying to get the keys was rather cliché and even during the fight scenes it didn't feel like our protagonists were in real danger. It didn't help that one scene involved Doyle moving at speeds that caused her to blur... that just felt silly. The scenes involving Flavin raised some interesting questions; especially some of the things he said about Trance Gemini. Ultimately this unfortunately led to a rather disappointing conclusion when the door to Flavin's ship finally opens in a scene that links to two plot lines. On the plus side I rather enjoyed Gigi De Leon's performance as Lunah and Alan Scarfe's return as Flavin was welcome. Overall I wouldn't say this episode was bad but equally it wasn't particularly good either.
