Storyline

While The Kingfish (Tim Moore) is napping, his maroon and white car is borrowed for a hold-up. The Kingfish knows the police have a description of the car, but he hesitates to admit ownership, fearing his accumulation of debts might make him a prime suspect. Unsuccessful in his attempt to give the car away, he and Andy (Spencer Williams) are caught by a policeman while they're trying to paint the car light blue. Hauled into court, lawyer Calhoun (Johnny Lee) and The Kingfish's friends create more problems with their character references.
