Trivia

This episode is reportedly inspired by a real life event that took place in Los Angeles, California on November 23, 1938. User Reviews

A really amusing, super silly episode.
30 March 2007 | by (Long Beach, California) – See all my reviews

An actor portraying a mummy learns that his wife is having the baby and has to get to the hospital. On this same night an actual mummy comes to life, a group of people chase down this actor mummy and an odd comedic adventure ensues. The material itself is really super silly, but in the end it's very entertaining. The back-up cast is great including Brion James, Tracey Walters, Bronson Pinchot and even Len Lesser (Uncle Leo from Seinfeld). The fun, bouncy musical score for this episode is done by Danny Elfman. Though this may not be the best "Amazing Stories" entry, it certainly is one of the lightest ones.

My rating: *** out of ****. 24 mins. TVPG
