Computer Controlled Buildings
26 November 2014 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

The Captive Tower is the first episode of the second and final season of The Amazing Spiderman. In it,Peter Parker,Daily Bugle editor Jonah Jameson and Peter's rival photographer Julie Masters get trapped inside a newly computer controlled and constructed building New York skyscraper after they get locked down by thieves through computer error while committing an ongoing robbery of $10 million was taking place inside. This brings Peter to figure out on how to escape, help the occupants trapped inside and capture the thieves.

The concept of computer controlled buildings was definitely an interesting theme back when the TV show was on air.It was a look of the future and what buildings are today. In addition to that,it was interesting to not how computers would dominate society in the years to come. Also,it was worth noting that the movie Die Hard was similar to the plot of this particular episode. But most of all,it was great to see Spiderman climbing all those buildings despite the technical limits the producers had when the show was made.
