Storyline

Ally is turning 28. That is upsetting enough to her but Elaine wants to throw a party at the bar for her, and Greg won't sleep with her and she doesn't know why. She's defending a man in court who was arrested for breaking into his date's house and massaging her feet. She tries to fix things for the couple at the bar, but it's not a good night for Ally. Especially when Renee chooses to surprise her as well and it looks like it's not going to be a happy birthday after all. Written by napierslogs

Goofs

Greg goes to Ally's office to sign the final papers from when he was sued for an unauthorized surgery transplanting a bovine liver to help a patient survive a few more days until a viable human liver was available. Ally, leaving the office for another case, tells Greg that Elaine will help him to complete the paperwork, which she does. The "goof" is in the continuity of the final edit. We see Greg signing the papers with Elaine, while she flirts excessively (asking for a pelvic examine for her supposed pain where her appendix is) and begs Greg to sing a song for Ally at the birthday party Elaine is orchestrating. Greg signs his paperwork with Elaine several scenes prior to the scene in which Ally instructs him to do so. See more »
