Storyline

Sydney's emotions are turned inside-out when she once again comes face-to-face with Allison Doren, the murdered Francie's doppelgänger, who was presumed dead but is now a key assassin working for the Covenant. Meanwhile Lauren's search for Lazarey's murderer leads her closer to discovering the connection to Sydney, and Sydney begrudgingly is assigned as Sloane's CIA handler.

Three women and their missions

In this episode we learn that Alison, the woman who killed and replaced Sydney's friend Francie in season two is alive and well and working for The Covenant. Understandably Sydney is somewhat disturbed by this news, she is equally disturbed to learn that she will be replacing Lauren as Sloane's handler.

Sydney and Alison find themselves on the same mission but working for opposing teams when they are both tasked with recovering a key that gives the holder full access to Russia's nuclear arsenal, inevitably they meeting leads to a fairly violent confrontation. Meanwhile Lauren is getting closer to learning who killed Lazerey, information from the Russians has given her a name but as of yet she doesn't know that name was an alias Sydney had used in her lost two years.

This was a good episode with plenty of action and some nice plot development. It was nice to see Alison return, I'm sure we will see a lot more of her in future.
