Actors were giving the performances of their lifetimes

This was an excellent episode; a little bit like a tornado, going everywhere so fast with a lot of things spinning around all in favor of increasing panic. Somehow in all that mess whole season suddenly came into focus and it was brilliant, classic Alias episode that represents all the good stuff in this show.

The plot kicks off immediately following cliffhanger, with everybody's hands in the air. Fighting in those 5 minutes was kinda ridiculous, especially with Vaughn beating Sark, but it served the purpose. Sydney gets out (obviously), but not without a few scars on her side.

The real gem of the hour was that mission in Paris that, next to being maybe 5th mission that actually had something to do with plot, brilliantly collided two estranged plots together. Sydney with her oldie but goldie red wig and Bradley with his best acting so far were something I never knew I needed. Just looking at Tippin's face while everything is happening is big enough proof that everything in his life is called into question. He always knew that pursuing his story was a dangerous thing to do, but this was whole new level.

The Alliance meeting was intense. These days everything about Sloane is. That main British SD guy was kinda annoying with his broken sentences tho. But Sloane's conversation with Sark was worth all the pain. Watching these two in the same room (much like watching Jennifer and Bradley in this hour) is an experience all in itself. Mr. Rifkin gave amazing emotional acting when it comes to his character's feelings about his wife. And I am glad they developed Sloane and Emily's plot so nicely. It puts a main antagonist into a very different situation, usually meant for the protagonist, while all the same keeping him who he really is.

To sum all up, this was a very nice pre-season finale, with even better cliffhanger. All the plot- juggling finally made sense and every loose end coming, well, to its end just in time for finale.
