Please do research on accents
25 January 2009 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

I can't believe the stupid mistake made in this episode, the nurse (McClaine) who is clearly Scottish and speaks with a Scottish accent is supposed to be the sister of the IRISH guy, who clearly speaks with an Irish accent . Then someone comments that she used to be a member of the IRA, since when have Scottish people ever been members of the Irish Republican Army? I then see from Google that they are both genuine, she was born on Glasgow Scotland and he was born in Belfast Ireland DUH! Is this as I expect, that Americans can't tell the difference between the two accents? If that's the case I would have thought that the directors and /or the casting directors would know the difference. If there was a reason for this and it was not a mistake will someone please let me know what the reason was. Thanks
