Storyline

Sloane decides to betray Dean when he learns that Nadia's condition will probably not improve. They meet at a race track in Dubai to exchange a network access card which Sydney and Renee stole in Rome, leading to Dean finally being captured. The APO interrogates Dean for information on Prophet Five. Yet another mysterious stranger asks Sloane to eliminate Dean. Meanwhile, Nadia comes out of her coma for a short time after a nameless nurse leaves her room. Under orders from his new Prophet Five contacts, Sloane kills Dean during a routine reboot of the APO's surveillance network, and APO misses its chance to hack the network, but learns Prophet Five is linked to intelligence agencies around the world. At the end, control of Dean's terrorist cell is given to Kelly Peyton. Written by Anonymous

When Jack and Syd are trying to move the crib into the bedroom the crib of course does not fit through the doorway. However in season 4 when Nadia had that same bedroom the door was bigger and it was a sliding door. See more »

Sloane comes clean
2 February 2012 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

This episode opens with Sydney and Rachel acquiring a key-card in Rome; an item that Gordon Dean is keen to get his hands on. He tasks Sloane to retrieve it little knowing that Sloane has already come clean to APO after learning that there is little prospect of Nadia recovering. Sloane agrees to help Dean but after the handover APO capture Dean and set about interrogating him back at headquarters. It looks as if things are going well until a stranger approaches Sloane; he is part of Dean's organisation and he wants Sloane to kill him... he refuses until he gets a call from the hospital telling him that Nadia has awakened.

This episode might not have had quite as much action as the last but it was still pretty entertaining; once again it is hard to tell whether Sloane is a good guy again or just looking for a way to serve his own aims; Sloane could so easily be a pantomime villain if it wasn't for Ron Rifkin's fine performance. It was nice to see Rachel get the better of Gordon Dean; it is just a pity that we won't see any more of Tyrees Allen in the role... at least his former sidekick Kelly Peyton, played by the excellent Amy Acker survives. It was good to learn a little bit more about Prophet Five although they are still very much a shadowy organisation.
