While aspiring actress Laura Donovan is videotaping a scene for an acting class, a man breaks into her apartment and rapes her. She goes to the police but they are skeptical - she showered and laundered her clothing after the attack eliminating any physical evidence - and she's not quite sure what to do. She knows the man who attacked her, Paul Stevens but he claims to be innocent. When she remembers the video tape, she invites Paul to her home for a special showing. Written by garykmcd

Very Careful Rape
4 December 2014 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

An actress is alone in her apartment rehearsing her lines when a man breaks in and rapes her. So what does she do before going to the police? Jumps in the shower, and washes her clothes. Obviously the detective isn't too impressed, in spite of her bruised face, nevertheless, he questions the prime and only suspect, whose wife gives him an alibi.

Then the victim remembers something; she wasn't simply rehearsing her lines, she was recording herself, and she has also recorded the rape. All she has to do is take this recording to the police, and her violator will be behind bars for a long time. How could she have forgotten that? Perhaps she didn't, and likewise perhaps she destroyed the forensic evidence for a reason?
