A convicted robber is released to the family of one of his cell mates, against the better judgment of his parole officer.
Jackie Blake is released from prison after serving time for a bank robbery. A friend from prison arranges for Jackie to stay with his mother. Jackie does this and is accepted into the convict's family. Gradually, his attitude toward life changes. He gets a job and is quite content.
