User Reviews

The common drama made for TV audiences.

So sweet to see here the young Brandon de Wilde, the unforgettable little boy of George Steven's SHANE. He plays here, in this western TV episode, a youngster living with his mother, a widow. She worries about him, so young, so wild. This little family, mother and son, are owners of a very important property, a ranch employing many cow boys. The young man intends to supervise the whole business. He compares himself to his late father. That scares his mother.

A good character study more than a western. Interesting, right in the mood of this TV show. Do not expect more.

Directed by Walter Grauman, the TV director who gave so much for the small screen.
