User Reviews

Terrific

I am surprised that no one has commented it yet; especially Gordon 156, from Canada, who seems specialized in this kind of rare gems. This episode is really excellent, a real noir gem from TV industry. We, of course, think of THE HUSTLER, the masterpiece made several years later starring Paul Newman, probably the best movie ever made about pool jungle, with COLOR OF MONEY.

Cliff Robertson plays here a mysterious disenchanted pool drifter, a very convincing character which grabs you all long this twenty two minutes show. An authentic noir atmosphere, with Harold J Stone who also brings his bright personality in this unexpected tale. Especially the ending.

Worth watching, at all costs.
