Cause For Alarm
17 April 2015 | by (North America) – See all my reviews

First episode of the third season is a dramatic one, as an earthquake in Chile creates a tsunami(tidal wave) that is headed for Honolulu Hawaii in 1960. Housewife Margaret North(played by Jean Allison) is confined to a wheelchair due to polio, and cannot leave her home as a result, since her Naval engineer husband is too far away, but the timely arrival of a deaf man driving by will prove to be providential for them both. A greater ring of truth to this episode occurs, as the real life woman this happened to appears on screen at the climax, and affirms the truth of it, while host John Newland treats her with grace and respect. Ted Knight costars as a seismologist.
