The Last Wave

***SPOILER*** Incredible but true story that happen in far off Honolulu Hawaii after the monster 9.5 earthquake ,the biggest in recorded history, that torn apart the ocean floor some 100 miles off the Chilean coast at 7:11Pm local time on May 22, 1960.

As the 40 foot high, generated from the monster earthquake, tsunami begins to bear down on the islands of Hawaii wheelchair bound, from polio, Honolulu housewife Margaret North, Jean Allison, is left on her own with her husband Emmett, Dennis Patrick, some 20 miles away doing land survey work for the US Government. With help quickly fading to save Margaret from being swept under by the 40 foot tidal waves all of a sudden out of the blue her guardian angel arrives in the person of legally deaf US Navy Commander Thomas A.Powers, Cliff Hall.

Powers who's stone deaf and didn't hear the sirens warning everyone in the area to effectuate somehow picked up Margaret's pleas for help that most if not all of the people, who could hear, fleeing the area didn't! It was Powers momentarily psychic ability to "hear" Margaret that not only saved her life but his as well with him driving towards the beach, where the tsunami was to strike, instead away from it!

At the end of the episode were introduced to the real Margaret North,in a wheelchair, by host John Newland who in explaining of what she went through can't come up with a rational answer or explanation for it! What was it that had Thomas A. Powers suddenly stop his car and head for Margaret who was on the ground, after falling off her wheelchair, and unable to get up as well as being out of sight for him to rescue her! Whatever it was it's something that modern science can't explain! In that what happened to both Margaret North and Navy Commander Thomas A. Powers being in the realm of the supernatural!
