A solid soldier's story

Not a light atmosphere here. Rather bleak instead, not MASH, but not CROSS OF IRON or ATTACK either. I don't remember having seen Korea war scheme in this series, but that doesn't mean there was not, I am not quite sure. It remains a men's tale, men in war, lost between theirs and enemy lines. Good settings and production design, especially for this kind of TV stuff. The writers enhanced the actors directing for this story speaking of a Young private lost in the no man's land, which I spoke about just above, by his own fellow comrades. I don't know any of the actors, but they are absolutely worth, as good as for big screen stuff. I was surprised to watch here the split screen use. A rather cruel, painful tale. But worth a look.
