Glass Palace

One more example of a story which should have been made for the big screen, for a ninety minutes length, instead of an ordinary sixty minutes episode. This story is about ice skating shows with Ricardo Montalban and Ann Francis as the main leads, the contenders. You already have seen movies about this sport, but mainly TV movies in the eighties or late seventies. I don't speak of the Sonja Henie's films, during the forties, for Twentieth Century Fox company. Back to this episode, Ricardo Montalban gives an outstanding performance as an ice skater suffering of an eyes disease, resulting form an accident, leading him to blindness...

A lost gem here, which deserves to be discovered again after all these years, only for Ricardo Montalban and Ann Francis' performances.
