An Interesting Premise
28 January 2015 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

The criminal element uses a drug that allows them to manipulate people. Kent finds Jimmy in a catatonic state. The crooks steal a secret file that Perry White keeps on Superman. White is then victimized by the same drug put in his coffee in a hotel room. The figure that Clark will be the next victim, so the pretend to fire him so he can act as a undercover destitute on the street. He wants to infiltrate the mob so he can put a stop to their activities. He is eventually reeled in, but, of course, he is Superman, and his zombie- like state may be an act. Of course, Lois decides to go it alone and rescue the big horn- rimmed lunk. Of course, Lois is tricked and drugged herself. She points out that Clark is never around when Superman appears. This one pretty much fizzles at the end in a dramatic letdown.
