Lois the Loose Cannon
29 January 2015 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Lois and Clark return to her home town. She has been unable to reach anyone in the town and is suspicious. When they arrive the place is a ghost town. The go to the home of a doctor and watch as a dog dies before their eyes. When they enter the guy's house, he is lying on the floor, having passed out. They visit an old friend, an elderly lady and she warns them to get out of town. Everyone is hostile and angry with them. No one can explain why everyone has left. Previous to this the episode opened with a man in a type of protective suit throwing things through people's windows after breaking them. Clark wants to investigate but wants Lois out of there. Of course, she immediately gets herself in trouble (that's what happened to nosy women in the fifties, right Lucy). Anyway, there is a secret and it is, as usually the case, pretty easy to explain. Of course, we have to accept the fact that no one was ever informed that horrible things were going on in the town. No phone calls or people leaving to call the state authorities. Anyway, it's a pretty good episode if you don't think too much.
