Superman raises the bathysphere in which he is trapped along with Lois, Jimmy and Mr. White by hauling the cable into the bathysphere through the small hole in the roof. But he's standing flat on the floor as he does it. He would have to be braced against the ceiling (or some other fixed part of the structure) in order to move it upward. See more »

Poor Lois
15 February 2015 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

There is a big time crime boss who is unknown; only his henchmen are caught. They need to find a way. They enlist the help of a gorgeous fifties blonde bombshell. Superman meets her and immediately ask her to marry him. She agrees. Then the crime boss springs into action. First, he has Mrs. Superman kidnapped and brought to his offices. Next, he tricks the rest of the Planet staff along with Superman, getting them to get into a bathysphere. If there's any funny business, Superman's wife will pay the price. The bad guys plan on blowing up a bridge, robbing an armored car when it hits the ground. They also tie the wife to the bridge which has a long fuse. And, of course, everyone is under water. It is the usual cliffhanger and requires a tiny bit of thought. Things depend on abject stupidity.
