Storyline

A man in a diving suit begins to walk into the Daily Planet building. He is shot before he can enter the newspaper's offices. Dying, the man says the word, "Quincy," to Perry White. Perry decides he wants to solve the mystery himself after complaining how his reporters rely too much on Superman for help. First, Perry intends to wear an identical diving suit outside the newspaper offices. Clark Kent bends the helmet before Perry can don it. Clark says he'll get it fixed. Instead, it's Superman who wears the suit and is shot at by a gunman. But the gunman captured by Superman knows nothing that can solve the mystery. Perry figures out "Quincy" refers to a nearby health club. That leads to an attempt on Perry's life, but Clark foils it. As it turns out, there are two competing pairs of criminals. They're after something valuable hidden by another criminal who was killed upon capture by the police. A clue was hidden in the water tank on top of the health club. But Perry faces still more ... Did They Really Need That Diving Suit?
4 February 2015 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

A man wearing a deep sea diving suit is gunned down in front of the Daily Planet Building. As he lies in the infirmary, he mutters his last word to Perry White. It is Quincy. Perry, who has had enough of the sloppy work of his own reporters decides to get into the act himself and relive his exploits as a reporter. He also thinks that the only reason the others are successful is because Superman always intervenes. He, Clark, and Lois do some leg work and begin to suspect that water has something to do with the murder. At one point, Superman dresses in a diving suit, and once again, a crook fires at the suit, but is apprehended by our guy. Meanwhile two sets of bad men (one a woman) begin to jockey for position. There is a secret and it has to do with a water tank. When the Planet people get involved, things get pretty sticky. When you find out why the water tank is important, it makes you wonder why a "deep sea" diving outfit was necessary.
